11th September’2001 became an unforgettable day for the Americans and people all over the world. When I first saw the plane crashing into the World Trade Centre, I thought that is was an accident. However, a horrible disaster started in New York. I sat in front of the television all over the night, watching the process of New York city becoming rubbles. It was not only the nightmare of America, but also the nightmare of the globe. I don’t know what American President, George W. Bush had done. The fact is terrorism should never be spread. I cannot imagine what will happen if such disaster appears again. Terrorists tried to make chaos and offend the world’s order. We cannot give up. We cannot fall down. I agree with Powell’s words. He said, “They can destroy buildings. They can kill people, and we will be saddened by this tragedy, but they will never be allowed to kill the spirit of democracy. They cannot destroy our society.” Terrorists do not treasure others’ lives. Are they really happy when watching people dying? I do not want to see World War Three. I do not want to see such disaster anymore. Can world peace be maintained forever? I’m very sorry for the victims in this terrifying event. I am certain to say terrorism should be totally destroyed. |
